Professional Development

  1. LONG -TERM proposal activities include retraining, advanced study, and esearch. This fund provides full pay for any number of units of semester-long reassigned time.
    Contact Prof. Barbara McCarthy Chair, Professional Development Committee, for further information at ext.3473.
    Eligibility: Third and fourth year tenure track and full-time faculty.
  2. SHORT-TERM proposal activities include retraining or improving existing skills. Typical activities include conferences, workshops and seminars. This fund provides substitute pay for release time, as well as conference or other registration fees.

    Eligibility: Adjunct and full-time faculty.
  3. SABBATICAL/EXTENDED LEAVE

    Eligibility: Full-time tenured faculty
    Deadline for Applications: February 1

Travel

There are limited transportation and lodging funds available, with a maximum of $200 per person/per year allowed in-state, and $300 out-of-state. Please refer to the application for reimbursement requirements.
