Computers
Computers are available in the Library and allow access to specialized databases, word processing, and the Internet as well as access to the online catalog. Academic work is given priority on library computers and students using computers for personal business may be asked to surrender their station for a working student. Misuse of the computers or the Internet will result in loss of computer privileges.
The library has both Macs (operating on OS 10) and PCs (operating on MS Vista). You are encouraged to purchase a memory stick or flash drive in order to save your work.
Black and white printing is available in the library. You must purchase a copy card for 50 cents at either the copy machine or circulation desk, then add money to your card in order to print. Printing costs 12 cents a page.
Laptops
Our new laptop check out system allows current registered students to check out a laptop for use in the library. Ask about our laptop policy at the front desk.
Photocopiers
The library has two black and white photocopiers. Copies cost 12 cents a page and can be made using cash or a copy card.
DVD/Video Players
All of the library's computers and laptops can play DVDs. You must use headphones when viewing DVDs with sound. Headphones can be checked out at the front desk. The library also has two study rooms with televisions and DVD/VHS players. These rooms can be used on a first come first served basis.
