Learn How to Earn Your Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration at Cañada
Notre Dame de Namur University and Cañada College are teaming up to offer a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with the option of an Accounting Minor.
Students can learn how to earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with the option of an Accounting Minor at Cañada College through a unique partnership between the Cañada College University Center and Notre Dame de Namur University. All courses will be taught by NDNU faculty on the Cañada College campus beginning this fall. The partnership continues the relationship NDNU and Cañada established last fall with the NDNU Intensive Human Services program on the Canada campus.
A final information session will be held Monday, Aug. 30 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. in Building 3, Room 142. The sessions are free and open to the public. Prospective students that cannot attend one of these sessions are encouraged to contact the NDNU School of Business and Management dean, Dr. Barbara G. Caulley at 650-508-3684.
The program is designed for Cañada students who have completed or are nearing completion of the requirements for acceptance into the NDNU Business Administration program. The degree provides students with the expertise and knowledge about critical business functions along with a strong liberal arts foundation, to provide a balanced perspective on contemporary management and organizational issues. NDNU will offer this degree as well as the already established Human Services degree in Cañada’s University Center. Both programs are designed to provide Cañada students with a seamless transition into obtaining a degree from NDNU, while eliminating extra commute.
Notre Dame de Namur University is an independent Catholic, coeducational institution serving more than 1600 students. Founded by the Sisters of Notre Dame of Namur, Belgium in 1851 and chartered by the state in 1868, NDNU maintains a strong commitment to social justice and community engagement. The University is fully accredited and offers 21 liberal arts and career preparation undergraduate programs, and 12 graduate degrees and 7 credentials.
