Graduating High School Seniors Get Priority Enrollment for Summer and Fall Semester

The Priority Enrollment Program (PEP) makes the transition from high school to college a snap.

Graduating high school seniors can earn priority admission and access to the most popular summer and fall semester classes by participating in the Cañada College Priority Enrollment Program. This year's Priority Enrollment Program workshops will be held Wednesday, April 22 from 3 to 8 p.m.; Saturday, May 2 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Wednesday, May 20 from 3 to 8 p.m. It allows students to complete the necessary steps to become a college student in a short period of time, and early in the registration period! It is a great opportunity for getting priority admission and access to early registration for the Summer and Fall semesters.

PEP offers students:

  • Orientation to College – you will meet with individuals from support services who will provide you with guidance and necessary information.
  • Placement Testing – will determine the level of your math and English and assist Counselors to place you in the appropriate course.
  • Group Counseling – will provide you with general information on programs and the College requirements.
  • Financial Aid Workshop – is an extensive workshop providing information about financial aid availability. Financial Aid advisors will be available to provide guidance with completing necessary forms.
  • Campus Tour - will be provided to help you find your way around campus.
  • Appointment for one on one Counseling – you leave with a Counseling appointment which gives you an opportunity to discuss your educational and career goals with a Counselor.
