Learn the Secrets of Applying to Prestigious Private Universities

Cañada students accepted to private universities will share their experiences.

This year, Cañada College students have been accepted to Stanford, Brown, Cornell, Santa Clara, Mount Holoyoke, the University of San Diego, Rochester Institute of Technology and other prestigious private universities. Learn what these students wished they had known about getting through the application process at two special student panels to be held on Thursday, May 27 and Friday, May 28 at 2 p.m. in the MESA Center, Building 9, Room 251. "The application process for prestigious private universities is complicated," said Cathy Lipe, MESA director. Lipe said the information provided by the student panel will be particularly helpful for students planning to transfer next year.
