Cañada Baseball is Top-Ranked in Northern California
The team is making a strong push towards the Coast Conference championship.
The Cañada College baseball team is now the top-ranked community college baseball team in Northern California thanks to a 23-3 start to the season and a 15-1 mark in the Pacific Division of the Coast Conference. The team is led by freshman Tony Cooper's .438 batting average and David DiPaola's six home runs. Pitcher Brandt Norlander leads the staff with seven wins and is second on the team with 48 strikeouts. The team plays seven more games including a pivotal home game against Skyline College on Thursday, April 29 at 2 p.m.
