The Caņada College SBDC is a partnership between Caņada College and the County of San Mateo, San Mateo County Legal Aid, and the Peninsula Library System, with primary funding provided by the SMCCCD - San Mateo County Community College District/Caņada College.
All services and programs are provided on site at the Small Business Development Resource Center located in Building 13, Room 121 at the college main campus in Redwood City. The campus is conveniently located at 4200 Farm Hill Blvd off Hwy 280. It is easily accessible via public transportation from Sequoia Transportation Station in Downtown Redwood City. Disabled access and parking are provided to our SBDC visitors.
The Mission:Caņada College Small Business Development Center will promote and foster local economic growth and development by assisting present business owners to grow, expand and strengthen their businesses and by helping potential new business owners evaluate, design, start and operate a successful new business. The SBDC is committed to economic development of micro-business in San Mateo County.
Critical Elements Necessary to Achieve Our Mission:- Provide effective out-reach programs so the business community can benefit from Seminars, Classes and free business consulting/counseling.
- Provide targeted and practical business classes that will meet the needs of present and future business owners and entrepreneurs.
- Provide an easily accessible Resource Center with the tools to help present and/or future business owners, and entrepreneurs to achieve their goals.
