Biology Program & Course Offerings
botany photoThe Biological Sciences program includes two separate disciplines: Biology and Health Science, and serves several different student populations. Biology courses prepare students for advanced university studies in biology, nutrition, anatomy, and physiology. The Health Science courses prepare students to enter transfer degree program such as Health Education, Dietetics, or Physical Therapy. The courses of both disciplines provide a foundation for a liberal arts education. The biology program has a strong focus on hands-on experimentation and the use of computer technology to enhance learning and improve student success.
