5. Special Events: Workshops

CARE participants get the added benefit of workshops providing updates on various programs that affect CARE students. It is also a chance to learn more about changes to the CARE program and changes to benefit packages.

6. Special Events: Workshops

Workshop coordinators take advantage of cultural events to make CARE workshops more than just workshops.  Workshops have featured piñatas, visits from Santa, and visits from the Easter bunny. Children are welcome at these events as child care is provided.

8. Eligibility: Who is Eligible for CARE?

To be eligible for CARE support services, EOPS students must be at least 18 years of age and a single head of household, a current recipient of TANF, have one child under 14 years of age, and be enrolled full-time upon admission into the program.
